Lauren took melody and songwriting classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston simultaneously with her art degree, and had songwriting mentorship from Jon Aldrich. She has participated in numerous songwriting rounds, live performances, and radio spots, playing her original music across the country as well as in Canada and Mexico.
She has played in trios, full bands, and has been accompanied by violinists as well as jazz bands. Her songs’ musical versatility allows for many different arrangements and possibilities. Her songs fluctuate between folk, blues, rock, and indie, and she is working on a new album that before all else is made up of songs that are fun and imaginative, bridging gaps between genres and expectations.
